Research environment

At the University, academics and doctoral students carry out their research work using infrastructure concentrated in eight units:

1. Collegium Medicum – field of medical and health sciences, see.
2. Faculty of Humanities – field of humanities and field of social sciences in the discipline of social communication and media sciences, see.
3. Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences – field of exact and natural sciences and the discipline of social sciences in the field of socio-economic geography and spatial management, see.
4. Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology – field of social sciences in psychology and pedagogy, see.
5. Faculty of Law and Social Sciences – field of social sciences in economics and finance, security sciences, political and administrative sciences, management and quality sciences, as well as legal sciences, see.
6. Faculty of Arts – field of arts in the disciplines of musical arts and fine arts, as well as art conservation, see.

Employees and doctoral students of the University have the opportunity to apply for funding for research projects:

1. From JKU – funding on a competition basis. The rules are determined by the rector, detailed information is available here.
2. from external funds within the framework of competitions announced by institutions financing research, development, or artistic activities, among others: Ministry of Education and Science, National Science Centre, National Agency for Academic Exchange, European Commission.
